Enhanced Art Nouveau vintage design from the French artist, Edmund Dulac for Hans Christian Andersen’s "The Little Mermaid" from the book Stories from Hans Christian Andersen published in 1911.
This series of vintage-look tiles, are created to resemble something you might happen upon in an antique store. These designs combine the elegance and richness of an old illustration with a more modern graphic sensibility.
The back is covered with felt in a complementary color to protect your furniture, should you want to display your tile flat on a table.

Additional Information
Each tile is created using a handcrafted gel transfer process to bond the enhanced image to 6"x6" natural stone tile, made in Italy. Only the image remains on the tile (no paper), and each one is unique due to the natural tile's grain and texture.
Tiles are sealed with 3 coats of a clear, non-yellowing acrylic matte varnish.
Tile Care
To clean: wipe with a damp cloth.
Tiles are moisture resistant, but do not immerse in water or place in the dishwasher due to the felt backing.
Tiles are heat/cold resistant but not suitable for use as a trivet.
